Recent eBay Purchases

Castle ring: £1.69 from eBay
 Rabbit necklace: £1.19 from eBay
Wish bone necklace: £0.99 from eBay

I love buying jewellery from eBay, especially from sellers in Hong Kong. I usually find the same, if not similar pieces on eBay that I see on ASOS, MissGuided and sometimes Topshop so it's definitely worth looking for a bargain!

The total of all these three comes to a mere £3.87 and in my opinion they're all the same sort of quality of stuff you'd find in high street shops. The only downside to it is that sometimes I'm left waiting for up to a month but for the price and free delivery it's pretty understandable.
The castle ring is similar to this Disney Couture ring too!

Do you ever buy things like these from eBay?

Glitter Tip Nails - Little Tutorial.

In this post I included a little experiment with my nails (photo to the right) and got a lot of comments asking for a tutorial. As it was so simple I just replied with how to do it to whoever has asked but as I was doing the same to my nails today I thought I'd show you all anyway in 4 easy steps.
What you will need:
  • One normal nail varnish - I chose Models Own Nude Beige.
  • One glitter nail varnish - I chose Models Own Pink Fizz.
  • Nail stickers like these or if you prefer a UK seller - these.

Step 1. Paint your nails with your chosen normal colour and allow to completely dry.

Step 2. Apply the nail stickers to one hand where you want them. I tend to apply mine just below where my nail comes over my finger tip (if that makes sense?!) Make sure they're firmly down at the top so no glitter gets underneath.

Step 3. Blob your glittery nail varnish on the bit of nail above the sticker (doesn't matter at all if it gets on the sticker) and smooth it out a little bit but still keep it thick. Make sure you get all of the gaps. Don't do all of your nails at once. Do one then while the glitter is still wet, gently and slowly peel back the sticker. Then proceed to paint the rest of the nails and take off the stickers as you go!
It's not the end of the world if the glitter dries but I just find it works better if you remove them when it's still wet.

Step 4. Leave the glitter to completely dry then apply a fairly thick top coat to keep it all in tact.

And voilà! The good thing about this design is that you don't actually need long nails to do it. In the first photo (first time I did it) my nails were actually fairly short so I just made the illusion that I had a tip!
If you have any questions about bits that don't make sense, please ask and if you try this out I'd love to see so make sure you link me!

Nothing More Than A Simple Taste - Outfit #28

(Top: Topshop, Disco Pants: American Apparel, Sunglasses: Topshop, Shoes: Topshop, Necklace: Me & Zena, Ring: eBay, Lips: Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Candy Apple)

Cringey smile!
I seem to be loving all things 'speckled' at the moment. I bought this with my lilac dress featured in my last post purely because I need more summery clothes and I loved the zip detail at the back. Also, I'm so not used to wearing sunglasses and always feel so stupid so this was a bit of a practice. Disco pants aren't the best for this weather but I'm so stuck with what else to wear!
What are your go-to summery items?

I was dying for this but it was out of stock online for ages, luckily for me it came back in stock the other day so I ordered it and got this mascara free! It's so similar to Models Own's Pink Fizz, the only difference is that it is a little bit more pink and as well as big bits of glitter it has a little shimmer too it too. This took 4/5 coats but it's worth it!

You're My Waterloo - Outfit #27

(Helloooooo leopard print bra...)
(Dress: Topshop, Belt: ASOS, Collar Necklace: Topshop, Ring: Primark, Socks: Topshop, Shoes: Vans.co.uk, Lips: Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie)

Bought the dress from my wishlist! Love it, it fits just as well as my grey one but the material feels a little thinner. I decided to keep it simple so I just teamed it with my trusty leopard print belt but I got this lovely new necklace from Topshop when I was with Joe so I thought it'd go pretty nicely as the dress itself is very plain. Also bought these socks when I bought the dress (I know, buying socks in this weather?!) and they're so adorable!
Anyway, please don't tell me I'm not the only hating this weather? Bring back the snow!

(Nails: Topshop Nails in Hypnotic)
Bought this when I bought the necklace on a whim! This photo doesn't show the true colour, it has silver, pink and green tones and I got this photo in the sunlight showing the pink tone as it's my favourite! It has a weird consistency but the colours make up for it as they're like the inside of a shell!

Wishlist #19

1. Topshop Blush Lace Trim Teddy Playsuit - Lace, silk, pink, a pretty playsuit that actually has sleeves... yes please!

2. Topshop Lilac Petite Speckle Tee Mini Dress - As you probably know I adore my grey version of this dress so this lilac one is a must. So easy to wear and versatile.

3. Topshop Bunny Print Invert Pleat Skirt - Bunny print?! Yes! I wish this wasn't such a tailored skirt because it probably wouldn't suit me but the print is adorable.

4. Topshop Pink Petite Horse Print Shorts - More animal print, simple and cute!

5. Topshop Studded Suede Clutch - Love the colour of this and the gold studs, it'd be great for when I don't want to carry my big bag around with me.
